Prevention & Diversion
The Prevention and Diversion Program provides both supportive and financial services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness. Through a client-centered approach, the P&D Caseworker collaborates with participants to identify immediate needs as well as long-term goals, with a focus on building stability and future success.
Support includes working together to address challenges and barriers, developing problem-solving strategies, and proactively preparing for situations that may impact housing or wellbeing. The Caseworker also promotes self-sufficiency by offering guidance in life skills, resource navigation, and eviction-prevention strategies to strengthen housing stability.
